Default How To Fix My Header Situation?

I have DC header JDM 4-1 w/ the 2.5" collector. I also have a testpipe/cuout i plan on using. Problem is that the cuout is 6" too short. The cat on the bottom is a 2.5" Carsound cat I could use but I want to use the cutout instead. I'm thinking that I need to have a muffler shop weld a 6" 2.5" pipe onto my cutout in order for the length to match up, and then have them weld the correct flanges onto the cutout. Stock cat is ontop, cutout is in the middle, and the 2.5" carsound cat is on the bottom. How do i resolve this?

i would get the test/dump pipe flange weld on itself, so you can bolt it to the header and the carsound cat. just in case that you need to remove it or do something else in the future. you neer know....
