how to fix core support on EG6
I have an EG6 sitting in the garage and i need to fix my core support in order to drive it. anyone know how to do it. also can i use a type r (B18C5) water pump on a B18 GSR

What's wrong with it? No one can tell you how to fix something if they don't know what is broken. Maybe you could post some pictures to help illustrate.

If you are talking about your front most engine bulkhead, then you will have to take it to a body shop. Once at the shop they will drill out the old spot welds, thus allowing the removal of your broken/bent/damaged bulkhead and a new OE replacement bulkhead will be welded back onto the front of your car.

if you have the time, get most of the work done yourself and save yourself the hit in the wallet. drill out the spot welds on the old core support, and use hardware store nuts and bolts to hold the new support on while you drive to the body shop. there are like 20+ spot welds I believe, the nuts and bolts should hold just fine temporarily

my core support is bent because of an accident before i got the car but the reason i got the car anyway is because of the full gsr interior and the gsr rear brakes and of corse the GSR engine....but can i use a type r water pump on the GSr is my next question.....also, thanks for the tips.....how about the shop doing it how much do you think it would cost

not really depends of what its bended if u have the lower frame bende u can buy one from honda , the whole front bulkhead u can get it by pices in honda pretty cheap
