13.9 @ 96?? are you using street tires or M/T slicks? whats your 60'?
stock itr motor on an EG would be in the 13's with also a good driver !

I ran a 13.4 @ 106.7 in my '92 VX w/ITR setup back in '98. This run was done on 13" VX wheels with 185/60-13 Sumitomo HTR 100 tires.
My VX weighed 2120 without me in it.

My 1992 Si with B18C5 swap weighed in at 2289lbs. w/o me in it on racenight.
On street tires, full interior, etc. and no ******* with tire psi and ripping **** out of the car, I ran:
13.9@100.97mph.
This is on a totally STOCK ITR motor and trans. The beauty is that it does not smoke at all, and has Honda quality build and not something to be worried about.
The mods I had were:
kenji P28 re-chipped
AEM CAI for 99-00 Civic Si
Tanabe Racing Medallion Exhaust
ACT clutch
That's it. I've since gotten a lighter car and an ATS 4.929 FD
We'll see in about 2 weeks what it will do.
BTW: that was my first time at the strip with that set-up - only ran maybe 5 times that night, so I'm sure I could have imporoved on those to maybe a 13.6-13.8 or so. 2.4 60-ft. times aren't that great

I just built a 92 CX and put a ITR in it the other week
I ran it last nite, my best time of 3 runs was 13.8@100.77mph
It only has a short ram intake
Im bringing it back again to see what I can do

Well these times are pretty good. I wish you luck with the setup. Search topics about Tom to find out more info on it. He has described it in detail a few times since december.
My 95 dx hatch with gsr motor...Aem made short ram, DC 421, andfull 2.5" exhaust all the way back went the best of 14.4 at 98 with a 2.2 60'. R gear ratios are better and you will pull lower times than this. Hopefully i can pull out some better times at the Rock this sunday...

The transmission is the key. 
ITR/ Si better gearing , better times.
GSR, SUCKS ( I have one and run 14.3 @ 97)
My MPH is there but it's not as fast, even with all the mods I have it has to be the gearing......
2.2 60' of street tires, so the driver is ok. of course, a lighter driver may help too.

sotck motor even with stock clutch..
.560 reaction time...
his best time was 14.5
this was at palmdale..which is known for giving higher 1/4 mile times..

damn you guys got to be running faster that, my friend has a stock type R with exhaust and nitto street slicks and the car runs 14.0's all day long with loe 2.1 60ft times! EG- R should run 13.5 at least with a good driver!

well, i'm willing to spend 5K plus on what i think is a GREAT engine to build on. you don't do it to get 13's....you do it to get very low 13's, prolly high 12s on street tires with a few mods, GREAT gas mileage, and reliability out the wazoo.
but i guess it's cooler to spend 4K on a turbo set up, slap it on your car, and then drive it for a year with 12's until your engine blows?
