From what I've read and heard from buddy's is all you have to do
is buy a OBDII to OBDI conversion Harness, and of course get a OBDI ECU.
But you need the ECU for your exact specifications. I.E. (5 speed or automatic),
and (vtec or non vtech). If I'm correct you should need the P28 ECU, if you have
the P2P ECU currently
Hope this helps

If your car is 96-98 model then buy this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...34682
99-00 model: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...91724
Of course your gonna need a OBD1 manual ECU - p72, p28, etc..

you could keep your setup and put in what is called a 02 simulator. it basicly makes the same signal as a rear 02 so when you wire it in the computer has no idea that it and the cat is gone and when you go to get your inspection you still can get the obd2 inspection with no problem. if you go the other way then you better know people cause it wont pass inspection.

well if he has a cat and keeps his original ecu its very easy to pass smog.. just remove the adapter harness and plug back the original ecu.. of course you gotta make sure your cat works and that its doing its job.
