its not low balling, just saving money on things that need to be fix, this guy wanted like 2300 or 2400, and there was **** that needed to be replace, so i got him down to 2100, so just check out the car make sure that there isn't anything wrong with it and just see if anything needs to be replaced, good luck, good find

Re: (v4lu3s)
I Bought my 95 hatch thats just as clean, with 16's (ok, their not that nice, but better then stealies) and 174,000 for 1830. OK, It's a CX, but I'm doing a swap, and you will too. 2500 is what my PO was origionally asking, i bought the car the same day he listed it. (He had like 5 calls while i was looking at it, and one guy on his way) the market on these things is crazy, ****** it up, but its always worth trying to bring the price down.

If you cant talk him down to arround $2k dont do it. You can find a better deal. I bought my 1993 cx hb with 115k miles for $1700. Buying a car is just a waiting game...if you have time, wait on it, and you will find a good deal eventually. GL

Slow down there boss. It's a 13 year old econobox that was less than 10k brand new. I wouldn't pay a dime over 2000 for it, reguardless of the shape it's in. I think a lot of you guys overestimate what these cars are worth just because the tuner community has jumped on them.
I don't really know that it's even worth 2k to me. With that many miles you're going to have a lot of PITA things that are going to need replaced like suspension bushings, probally the heater core, and unless you're planning to swap out the engine, transmission, brakes and suspension, you'll need to figure up some set aside money to get those all back in working order.
