how do you tell the difference between proportioning valves 96-00 civic

i know on tegs and 92-95 civic the disc brake porportioning valves are stamped 4040 but what about 96-00 cars?

there's no way to tell. the stampings dont' mean anything

True, but it would help searching. This is covered a lot in the rear disc conversion threads, just gotta look for them, it's all there.
