How do you remove the EG steering wheel? Search turned up no results
Hi all. Right now I'm doing the integra dash swap into my '92 civic. I've been working on disconnecting the civic dash for the last hour or so, and it is now ready to come out...
The only problem is that I don't see how it will fit over the steering wheel. I lowered the steering column to it's lowest point, but I still can't see how I'll get it out.
It would be a lot easier to just remove the steering wheel.
How do I remove it?
Thanks

Disconnect battery, unbolt and unplug the air bag. One 19mm nut holding on the wheel have fun.

No no no. Listen... You need to pop the cover off of the side of the steering wheel. Its an 'L' shaped piece of plastic, just use a flathead. Then on the other side where the cruise control is take that piece off. Unscrew both Torx screws and the airbag will pop off. Disconnect it (disconnect the battery upon reinstallation just in case.) Then take a socket that fits the big nut under the airbag (I can't remember, maybe a 15mm) and remove it. The steering wheel will slide right off. Oh yeah, and remember how you took the wheel off, cuz when you put it back on, you're gonna want it to be perfect, or you'll be driving straight, but the steering wheel will be turned a bit. Good luck.
