how do you know the motor belongs to your car?
i just got a 95 civic coupe
it has a d16z6 and i wanna know if the motor belong to the car
cause i like in sac and cops are all over
and is the tranny suppose to have a bar code on it?

Unfortunately there were no VIN's on the engines and trannys in 95 models. If your car is not an EX, then you know it's not original. If your car is an EX, then look for obvious signs of engine removal such as scuffing around the mount bolts, pulled out plastic clips, etc.
