Default How do you 6th gen guys fill your cooling system

Im an EF guy and I just put a y8 motor in my 91 hatch. Now I go to fill my radiator up and notice this motor doesnt have a bleeder valve for the coolant. every other d series motor i have seen has one on the front of the engine. how am i supposed to correctly fill my radiator without that bleeder valve??

I fill, cap, run, refill, run un-capped (burp it), cap, drive away

I fill, leave capless, and keep it full. Apply cap and drive off.

this is what i do:

turn heater controls to full hot
drain coolant
remove upper rad hose at radiator
remove thermostat
reinstall tstat housing
stick a garden hose in the radiator and flush it until clear water comes out of the hose

drain radiator
reinstall tstat
reinstall hose
fill with 50/50
let run for 5 minutes w/o cap on & squeezing upper hose
let run for 5 minutes with cap on tight

let cool, top off

eh something like that ... i haven't done it for a while and i've been drinking
