check an autoparts store or fabric store, there may be ScotchGuard fab4ic sprays that protect against UV rays.

I havent seen any discolored seats from the 'good' seat mfg'ers.. recaro, sparco, omp, momo.

now of course arospeed and cobra, corbeau may be different.. wonder if those last at all?

Cobra and Corbeau are very good seat manufacturers buddy. They are no where near the Arospeed or Tenzo Rice seats....

Corbeau's A4 is a nice seat for $250 but the quality is not the same as the real Sparco Torinos.

Sparcos will fade, and Sparco USA are jackasses about it, my sparco faded pink in 6 months, I called them, they said fading is normal wear and tear.. This was a $750 Sparco Atlas seat too.. composite back and all..

would tinting proctect from UV rays? This is what is causing the fading, not just how bright the sun is

Who cares? It's a racing seat, all about function.

My boss at work has a blue Sparco Rev seat in his Mr2. He said it faded not on the seat but on the edges of it. I guess it is normal wear for that to happen. Any word on that 3M product that protects the UV rays from fabrics?
