How do u check the tranny fluid level in a 5spd B tranny?

Default How do u check the tranny fluid level in a 5spd B tranny?

Just wondering now cuz i neva had any problems till now so i would like to know.

17mm bolt on the transmission case right next to where the passenger side axle goes into the tranny-----remove it and the fluid level should be to the bottom of the hole with the car sitting level

have your car level, remove the 17mm bolt by the passenger side axle. when you are filling it up and it starts leaking out from that hole, that should enough. it is usually about 2.5 qts
