How do I wire 99-00 Civic OEM Fog lights so I can turn them on without the headlights on?

How do I wire 99-00 Civic OEM Fog lights so I can turn them on without the headlights on?
I have a 98 hatch with a 00 front end and everything is plugged in and working. How can I get the fog lights to come on without having the headlights on? I want to be able to just use the fog light switch to turn them on and off.
just ground them out and run the other to 12volt power in the fuse box. Thats what i did in my eg
