how do i tell if a head was ported and polished????
im planning to replace my gsr head in my hatch. how do i tell if a head has been ported and polished? i want to buy a head that already has work done to it so that i dont have to work on it for a while. but i always get screwed by salers that say this and then it never was. i just hate that. what kinds of things to i look for when i check out the head?? and what if he doesnt have any receipts, is it all based on trust then??? thanks

they should be smooth and shiny. nothing of the factory rough stuff

If you don't know what a p&p'd head looks like, how do you know those other guys were lying to you?

i was inferring to previous deals that went bad. i didnt say that it was with other heads that i've purchased before. sorry if i mislead anyone
