How Do I remove This Shift Cable From An Automatic Tranny
Im trying to pull a motor from a 91 lx. Everythings pretty much done but I dont know how to remove the shift cable.. Please help

You will notice that where the cable goes into the tranny it is covered by a little plate(probably about 7inches long) There will various bolts(probably about 6) holding this thing in place. The plate is aluminum just like the tranny and is bent at 90 degrees, but you will be able to see the lines where it seperates from the tranny. Removing this will give you access to the pins that hold the cable to the tranny.
