How do I remove the clear plastic over gauges on 5th gen coupe?

Default How do I remove the clear plastic over gauges on 5th gen coupe?

your referring to the guage cluster right? well after you undo the screws to the top surface of the guage cluster trim and take it out (there are clips).. then you will see the guage cluster panel...

there will be 4 screws (i think) surrounding the guage cluster.. undo those.. and the whole cluster lifts out.. undo the wiring harnesses for the guages.. and it lifts out.. then you will see how the clear plastic cover just snaps in via tabs.. press and push out the tabs (i think theres 4) and the clear cover comes out and your guages are exposed.. dont mess up the needles, etc..

no problem.. too bad i cant find any pix/links.. but its not that hard to take apart.. just watch out for the clips.. and dont bend/break anything..

Do any of u guys know if my car will be affected by unplugging the SRS cable? by this I mean leaving it unplugged.
I have an aftermarket wheel.
