HOw do i chk this ITR motor FS is ok
Heres my situation. I reelly want one these R motor.
I finally have someone local.
Ok Im having second thoughts bec the motor was on juice.
Its a 2k itr usdm. Motor was rebuilt because It ran
nitrous. The motor handled it fine was rebuilt and now it has like 1000 miles
It DOES need work being put back together. The head needs to be put
back together.i dont know if its good after being rebuilt.
It was on NOS now its back to stock and hes selling it..
any HELP is appreciated...

I have no knowledge of what the nitrous can do to a motor.
I just need to know if what test can be done to make sure its ok. Everything i mean. I dont want a blown motor or cracked.
How do i know. WHat type of test should i do or get done?

I personally would never buy a motor that was previously on NOS. That is just my opinion. Also since the motor is not put together, i would be even more skeptical something else is messed up.

Dont do it man rebuild is going to end up on rebuilding the motor again and again i think you should get a stock ITR motor that is clean

words i will always use when purchasing anything.
espically a motor that was juiced to death.
who knows how much damage that thing has.

You don't have to jump at every opportunity that comes your way. If the guy was so intent on selling it I would think he would at least put everything on to make it "look" like there was nothing wrong. At least he was honest telling you they NOS'd it.

http://www.hondamotorsonline.com They sell type-r swaps for $4,800. And they have a very good rep, just ask around. Don't put back together someone else's project, because you it will cost you more money than you want to spend and more time that you don't want to spend.

i'vea heard nos does nasty things to engines, so watch what u buy. go and see it, and bring someone who in knowledge with you
