Re: -HELP- 94 civic EX =please look...
it is a nice car, but in no way will you be able to get 2500 for it. i paid 1200 for a pretty much stock 93 civic ex with all options at the time, and it was pretty flawless at the time, granted i have dumped a ton of money in it, but if you are trying to sell it i would put it on ebay, they tend to sell cars for the highest amount, and you have buyer protection and all that good stuff. if that isnt an option i would try your local craigslist.
the kbb value of this year car in "good" condition is just over 1700, add in the coilovers, and the minor work, subtract the minor problems, you will be at probably about 1900, according to kbb.. Overall it is a clean car, it all just depends on what someone is willing to pay for it.
but i wish you the best of luck man!

i however just saw that you replaced the engine and trans and all that, so you should be able to get more than what i said before, at least 500 bucks, but like i said, it all depends on what someone is willing to play, hondas will run forever, but at the same time they are very common.

i'd give you a grand about it...
your paint is faded and scratched to no end
salvage title = higher insurance
fat fives are common and undesirable
i am going to guess your mileage is high
i couldn't get 1500 for my car and i have a brand new 1500 paint job
and a bunch of usdm/jdm goodies so good luck with your 2500.....
maybe if it was a b/h series or boosted

how is the paint faded and scratched to no end????? ONLY THE FRONT BUMPER...like i posted in the thread.
salvage title... does not mean higher insurance.... we pay $40 a month with AAA insurance...
and did you read the thread? its a new motor and tranny it haves now about 68000 miles on it. (give or take.)

Its worth whatever somebody is willing to pay for it. and different parts of the country pay for it differently.
for example ship that car here, guarenteed 3g for it because its solid from the looks of the pictures.

it's clean for the age and mileage, but the salvage title is gonna kill you man.
It could be worse, it could be some rusted out midwest/northeast piece of junk.
I would expect to get around $1500-1800 for it as it sits.

Im in Pa and around here that car would do $2500 easy if not more. Put it on ebay and let people bid on it, put ur reserve at $2000 and you wont lose.

seeing this thread saddens me, cause i bought my 94 ex from a dealer last year with 124k on it for 2200, rust and hub caps on it and auto, worst mistake of my life.

that car would not go for 2500 here in pa there chachi, the only way that car is going for that price is if the buyer is uneducated and partially retarded. no offense to the op, but i think 1500 is a very very fair price

I guess it depends on the location but $2500 for a rust free good running 5 speed EX coupe doesn't seem that far out of line to me. I'm really not sure why people care so much about salvage titles on 16 year old vehicles.

I've seen this same car in far worse condition with the D16z6 go for stupid money here in Pa, yes the 717 area! Who cares about a salvage title as long as the car was fixed properly. If it was fixed right the car is worth it!

Re: 94 civic EX - How much is it worth? (pictures)
I bought my 2000 ex with 125xxx, a swapped y8 mini me (was uneducated and had no clue what to look for, he never told me) a bum fender, like 3 codes and I have bad rear struts. He tried to ask for $3200 and even not knowing Hondas no way that was f-ing happening, I ended up paying $2500. So using the transitive property, I'd say you could get $2500 to $2000.
