Re: How the crap do i get the resonator off?! (blufke)
i'm thinking you are talking about the intake one...well, i have a 92 vx also...
1. jack the car up
2. turn steering wheel all the way to the right...start taking the fender wall off...
3. open up the hood and take the intake box off
4. look around to see what bolts you can take off.
5. go back to the front well, and i think you can only take off one or two bolts from there..
6. then go under the car and take the cover off of the bottom part of the bumper.
7. go under and theres maybe one or two bolts to take out..one of them is a real freakin pain to get at.
8. wiggle the hell out of the resonator till it comes out from the side wheel well.
oh, i freakin forgot..if you can take the bumper out...it will be a billion times easier...i didn't cuz the screws were pretty rusted and i didn't want to mess with that...but yea, try to take the bumper off first..it will make it soooo much easier..its cuz the resonator is two parts stuck together, and its super hard to take it appart without taking the front bumper off..hope this helped.
