Default how to clean my EG clock? (the clear cover)

i just recently got an EG clock for my civic...but the clear cover outside is all dull and cloudy...i can see the time, but it's not that visible...it seems kind of blurry...i tried using windex to clean the cover, but didn't help...does anyone know what i can use to clean the cover so it will be all shiny again?

Meguires plastic polish does a great job on car plastics. I used it on the plastic cover that goes over the speedo/tach, and it looked brand new. Just took a little elbow grease.
