How to Check for Codes on OBD2 Vehicle
what is the proper method to check for ECU codes on an obd2 civic. specifically a 99-00. some people have been telling me to stick a paperclip in the green connector underneath the dash and i guess connect the two plugs together? while others say i have to have someone plug a pgm tester to it. if i do the paper clip test, the check engine light will flash the code, correct? what exactly will it say? i've read something about either short or long flashes. which is correct? thanks.
