how to change driver side b series axles on eg civic
i think the driver side b series axle might have gone bad and i am thinking of replacing it this weekend.i have all the tools and the parts ready.i am just wondering what are the step by step procedures to do the driver side axles swap . i basically know how to do it but just need to comfirm again.thanks
it should be easier than passenger side cause i dont have to drain the tranny fluid and it is only connected to half shaft axle. please advise.thanks guys

Take off wheel. Disconnect lower ball joint, strut fork. take off axle nut. spray on some wd40 then swing the hub out of the way, axle should slide out of the hub. Now pull the axle out of the transmission.
Once its out, pop in the new one, i usually give it a little tap to make sure the retaining clip goes in all the way. Then put all your bolts back. If everything goes smoothly it should only take about 30 minutes. If you have a rust bucket maybe longer.
