How To CHange The Clutch?
I have a 93-1.5L. I plan to change the clutch soon, but do not intend to take it to the shop. I wanted to kow the procedures of dissassembling the transmission from the engine. Or Would I have to remove the three motor mounts, then remove the engine from the engine bay and disconnect the transmission from there. HELP

when you take off the bolts...bolting the transmission to the block, remember where you took them off of because those bolts are different sizes.

Re: How To CHange The Clutch? (idriveadelsol7)
- Drain the tranny
- Disconnect all wires
- Support engine with a jack
- Unbolt engine mount and tranny bolts
- Remove tranny from car
- Remove the pressure plate
- Remove flywheel and have it resurfaced
- Reinstal flywheel
- Install new clutch disk, pressure plate, throw out bearing, pilot bearing
- Lift tranny back up and install back onto the engine
- Torque all bolts down
- Replace all wiring
- Fill tranny with fluid
Easy as pie!!
