thats a good indication on that it isn't good. if you want you can check the wiring and if everything checks out get another one or just get another one.

A good shop should have a machine that tell if your o2 sensor is broke.

Once your 02 sensor goes out, if you drive with it bad for too long your cat will be next. It will get clogged quickly from being run rich. So keep that in mind as well.

Ok first of all. you need to test the sensor before replacing anything. An O2 DTC may be a problem completely unrelated to the code. all an o2 sensor fault indicates is A) too rich B) too lean C) out of range D) heatr circuit fault. is your car running lean/rich. check fuel pressure is it spec? do you have a vacuum leak? is your fuel pressure regulator working properly and not leaking raw fuel straight into the vacuum line and into the intake? you need to test the sensor for its correct function. if you find that it is faulty do not put a piece of **** cheap one in. i will tell you now YOU WILL REGRET IT buy a GOOD QUALITY ONE. DOESNT NECESSARILY HAVE TO BE DEALER. If you cant afford it then just leave the old one in and live with the problem. i cant tell you how many problem cars i have seen where the issue was the brand new bottom of the barrrel 02 sensor that the customer just installed.
and yes if you leave your car running like **** youll be doing a cat. if you think o2 sensors are expensive go cat shopping

Yeah dude, AutoPartswarehouse is where I get most of my stuff. If anyone knows of a cheaper place that sells name brand stuff let me know.

BTW I have received orders from them in three days plenty of times.
