Default Swapping a del sol axle to a civic question?

Tomorrow i'm going to swap a axle from a del sol in a junk yard. I need the front passenger side axle because the axle boot in my civic, (a 1994 honda civic ex coupe stock engine too), is cracked. The del sol is a manual drive car and my civic is a automatic. I am going to try to go by this tutorial: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=382416 but if anyone knows any problems or differences in installation because I have an automatic or any problems at all putting a del sol axle in a civic, please let me know. This will be the first time I have to do this but it will be hard as hell because I have to basicly do four swaps cause the guy that onws the junk del sol wants the car to be movable still so he wants me to put my cracked axle back into the del sol. So basicly, I have to swap the axle out of the del sol and put it into my civic and swap the bad axle in my civic out and put it into the del sol. Any surprises that I should look out for? Also do I have to still do the transmission fluid drain? If so, do I drain both cars? Sorry for all the questions but I'm shakey but I have to do it myself cause I can't move the car out of the junkyard. PLEASE HELP WITH ANYTHING!

By the way, as far as I know, the problem is that there is a crack in the axle boot thats closest to the wheel. I hear clicks during turning and vibration on acceleration. What happens when it goes completely out and how long before it does? Plus how the hell do you break that thing in the first place. Sorry but this axle thing is all new to me so i'm trying to understand as much as I can but as quick as I can cause I guess it's going to get worse till I fix it.

get a good breaker bar to take out those 32mm driveaxles nuts.
I took my axle off yestarday, took me 10 minutes (second time in my life)
Yes, drain the tranny before you take the axle off.
