Default how can you tell??!!?

by the little bit of head gasket sticking out, would you be able to see the different layers if it is multilayers, or would they be compressed to tightly

you can tell. if it is EX/SI, the headgasket would be metal, and easy to tell. if any other, DX,VX,CX,HX, etc, it wuld be paper. 1 fat layer. harder to tell

you still should be able to see... over near the distributor side of the head, look under the far left header's primary and you should see a little corner of it.
