Have you ever used it? Probably not. Trust me this **** takes off all kinds of powdercoating. I've used it many times. Just don't get it on your hands or it will start burning your skin. Get the "Jasco Premium Paint and Epoxy Remover" as they have many different kinds.

Depending on powder formulation there is a few ways to remove it. The best way is burn it off, than blast off the fly ash. If it's an epoxy, good luck....bring it somewhere to have it stripped. They will chemical strip it than blast it off with something angular like garnet/slag. Powder is tough stuff but it is sure not indestructable. You do not want to try and blast off powder that hasnt been hit with a chemical stripper or torch. It's a polymer, aka plastic, so it will just melt with the heat generated by the blasting media. You need to damage teh bond between the metal and the coating before blasting will be effective. If you use the chemical stripper from walmart, heat the part up until its warm than spray it down every couple minutes and it will start bubbling. Than scrub it down witha wire brush. Good luck.
