How can you get additional License Plates?
Where can I buy an additional license plate for my car? I never got my front one and LA cops are finally cracking down on the front license plate thing.

go to the DMV. AAA used to do it but stopped. Make sure you bring your old plate or plates with you abd i think now you have to fill out some paperwork stating that you lost the front one or something.

When you get new plates, can you get a plate with the same letters and numbers, or will it have to be different? I know somebody who wants new front plates because it got messed up, but he wants the same number and letter sequence because he has a '99 VW Bug and is counting on it becoming a classic.

dmv will issue you a new set and sometimes they may have it then and there or itll be mailed to you. it takes a 5-7 days.

well even if it does becoma a "classic" he will of had to have traded in his plates at one time or another.
