HOW CAN THIS MAKE ANY SENSE AT ALL?? CEL 15 RELATED.
so ive been throuwing a CEL 15 in my d16z6 obd1 1994 civic ex. thats the ignition output signal.
ive been told to check the ECU at the wires to make sure its getting 10v accross pins b15 to a18 and b17 to a18 with a multimeter.
now when i did more reading i found out on the p28 obd1 pinout that there is in fact NO B17 to check for 10v....the Bs end at 16. a15 is a CKP ground P-side input....A CRANK POSITION SENSOR? and the A18 is an unused slot in the obd1 p28!
http://technet.ff-squad.com/wiring.obd1.htm
so my question is ive read many people saying to...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
check voltage between blk/yel wire and ground on the 2p dizzy plug
if there isn't 12v, repair open in blk/yel wire
check voltage between pin b15 to a18 and b17 to a18 for 10v
if there isn't 10v, replace ignitor or repair open in white wire between b15 and/or b17.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
but how would checking any of those even look at the distributor?? am reading this all wrong? i must be because this is making 0 sense.

ok check it out the ICM is actually pins A21 and A22 but am i supposed to be getting power from both? im getting power from only A21 and not getting power to the blk/yel wire on the round connector.
