How can I tell if I have a C5 head?
Just bought a built EG, thought I would just throw this question into this forum and see if any of you know...
I'm buying an intake manifold for it, i'm pretty sure the manifold for the B16A head is the same one that will fit on to a B18C5 head...and I'd like to make sure I actually HAVE a C5 head
100% sure the block is a B18C1 with a C5 crank, but I'm not sure whether or not it's the original head that was on with the original build (C5) or if it had been changed or what...
Is there anyway to tell the difference?

How would the intake ports look different?
If it's the original C5 head, it will have upgraded valve springs...this car was built in Houston by st00pid (Jason)
I'm pretty sure it's running GSR cams as well
EDIT: Just gave Jason a call, he can't remember if it was a B16 or a C5 head
But he's sure it isn't a GSR head, and I suppose it doesn't matter if the intake manifolds are the same for both

I've got both heads. Sitting side by side, you can tell the intake and exhaust ports on the C5 are a little bigger... smoother finish and etc. Whats the date on the head? If your wondering, there are numbers stamped on the exhaust side on the left hand side in little circles. The first numbers would be the year. 00, 97, etc.
