How do I go about swapping the engines between my 00 GSR and my B16a Hatch? Can I use the same mounts currently used in my Hatchback for the B18c1? Can I use the ECu from the GSR in the Hatch? How about for the GSR? It'll be going from an OBD II b to an OBD I? Any help? Thanks. Any other things I'm missing?

ok bro. what year is your hatch anyways? you can use the same mounts from the motor if its the between the years 1992-2001. (1992-1995) is OBD1. (1996-1998) is OBD2a and (1999-2001) is OBD2b. &lt;i.(*correct me if im wrong about the years*) [/i]So if your going to swap ECUs out from car to car, your going to need a ECU jumper harness.

and your GSR ECU won't pun the b16 right...either get a chipped ECU or the correct one

so you own both a gsr and a b16 hatch? pull the motors+wiring harnesses+ecu's and switch them

you need an obd1 ecu.
if i were you i'd hook the b16 tran up to the b18c
there is a faq for this swap.

I have searched, and just keep getting mixed answers... I think this is all I need ;
ECU harnesses, to make my 94 hatch an obd II(b) and another one to make my Integra an obd I. As far as the ECu's can I still use the ones I have running in each for the swap? And how about the mounts, can I still use the stock GSR ones to put in the b16 in it and the mounts in my hatch to recieve the b18?
