How can I disable the factory keyless entry
So I don't want to just remove the keyless entry all together since my alarm uses it, but i would like for the honda remotes not to work.
Any idea what I need to do ? Is there a sensor somewhere I can unplug?

what yr civic do you have? Depending on the year the process to program the remotes is different. But basically, you need to reprogram your keyless entry module to have no fobs. So basically have it go through its programming routine but do not use any remotes with it. it should reset it. Of course, killing the battery for a while might also reset that although I'm not 100% sure on that.

Try here:

you can program one fob and then crush it. Then you know that there is no other fob programmed to work with it.
