How to beef up my automatic 97 honda civic hb
I had recently purchased a purple bluish 1997 Honda Civic DX HB w/ auto tranny with 98k on it. This car will be used as a daily driven car in MD and won't be for any burn out or anything like that. Couple of weeks ago I decided to add some excitement on my ride. I dropped the car with a set of skunk2 coilovers, traded my doughnuts for bronze rota slipstream, installed apexi ws2(quiet but added some power to the car), and bought some abs type r front and rear lip from ebay, and waxed it to cover up some scratches and dents. I will post some pictures as soon as HT changes my trial to regular account.
Now, exterior of the car looks great to me but the car is still slow(expected, duh) Is there anything out there that can beef up my automaitc ride? Or maybe some adjustment to the engine or something.
Also, are there any b series engine w/ auto tranny that will fit right in to my car?

Should've bought a MT if you wanted power.
Theres a b16a that comes with an auto tranny but no USDM Civic came with that.
Just leave it as it is. My auto is all looks, my Integra will be all power.

Yes, there were automatic VTEC B-series engines available in Japan.

There's footage of a swapped auto B18C out there somewhere. I don't think I saw it on youtube, it might have been on a photobucket account.
Swapping a 5-speed into it would be cheaper than doing a full auto swap, but it'll all be costly if you don't do the work yourself.
