How to Adjust TEIN coilovers??? THE TRUTH!!
Alright after the debated discussion and everyone being 50/50 I need to find out the truth...
THE MANUAL: Turn fully clockwise to the stiffest setting (16) and turn back to soften
Finalzeros: set at full counterclock wise and jump in the hatch of the car and see if it stilff or hard, adjust accordingly..
So what is it??
1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12-13-14-15-16
Soft-------------------------------------Hard
or

no , the hardest setting is zero , most people dont know that and i didnt know it untill a short while ago . as per the tein instuction manual..... you adjust the damper full clockwise and adjust up to 16 from there meaning
zero = hardest
16 = softest
zero = hardest
16 = softest

And what happens when you need to get them serviced. How long will the turn around time be from here to Tein Japan and back?? How much will it be??

theres no teinUSA anymore???
didnt they have a place where you could take your stuff and have it serviced..
i remember reading a post about them a few weeks ago... supposed to be really good service.
also, if you cant FEEL the difference between full soft and full hard... then somethings wrong, either with you, or your shocks

Tein USA doesn't officially support the HA's only their replacement SS. The HA's would have to be sent to Tein Japan.

Yup, and as TURspoonek said, don't adjust past 16, becuase it could damage the dampener. I think mine clicks all the way to 20 or 21. However, i like to stay on the stiff side.

they can do rebuilds of their coilovers here in socal they're like 30 mins. from my house...they did my rebuild and repair...

all teins are 24 way adjustable)accept type basics and s-tech) , but that doesnt mean they can go that soft......
