Hot Import Nights @ Seattle
the show wasn't to bad. not worth $25 though. i didn't mind the loud music, but i went to look at cars. and when the lites were off, that didn't help. if i would have know it gonna be that dark i would have brought a flashlite with me. i liked two of the eg hatches the most. the rhd skyline didn't really impress me that much. the lotus' were pretty cool. didn't care to much for all the bmw's. too many of them w/ the same mods...lowered w/ a lip kit. a lot of supra's this year. pretty surprised to see the early 80's honda w/ a zc. looked really clean. still had fun though. just some of my opinions of the show. anyone else out there go to this show?

i missed that clean looking eg hatch, the one with the sprint harts, wish i would have seen that. but over all it was pretty good. i waited in line for 3 hours last year, so this year i went about 8 (started at 5) and i bought my ticket and walked in, it was very nice!

best part were the broads, I hated getting rained on for 45 minutes, even though I already had tickets, still had to wait, fuggin garbage. Way to many people in that joint to, not to mention the dumbassess doing burnouts in the parking garage as we were leaving. Ever hear a 150 car alarms going off at one time while some dumbass 10ft (if that) behind the bumper of your friends blue Si does burnouts (from the top level of the parking garage, all the way to the bottom)?

i find it funny how everyone complains about the crowd, the lines, the cars, etc. did you not expect a lot of people to be there? what kind of cars were you expecting to see? just doesn't make sense....
anyways, one thing that did really suck was the organization. i heard online tickets were basically a joke, and i'm not gonna talk about the mess at roll-in.

Definatly not worth the $25, $10 maybe
We ordered tickets on-line so it anly took about 30min to get inside (we got there at 5:30).
That rx-7 with the 2 n20 bottles and fuel cel was pretty nice.O few of the bmw's were nice but nothing to really get excited over.
Did anybody see or remember seing a black 5th gen si with a turbo? It was parked next to a blue prelude that had a sticker that said echromewheels.com.
Anyways thats my buddy's car,we pieced that turbo together and it came to less then $1,000 including the big *** intercooler. His car is pretty fast for a sohc only runing 6psi.

Re: Hot Import Nights @ Seattle (1320Motorsports)
good to know i'm wasn't the only one here who blew 25 bucks. PPI has the best models i thought. i saw a few of the bmw's @ r-sports getting a last minutes body kit put on on saturday. they drove their cars to the show with masking tape hold the lips just in case. those guys were in such a hurry to get their car to seattle by 4pm they just wanted a quick fix. the shop did a pretty damn good job too. fastlane had a few nice cars...not the skyline though. didn't anybody like the two lotus'? my fav's were between the blue civic eg on the left side of the building as you walk in and the purple civic w/ the s2000 taillites...in super street a few montha ago. thinking about going to IR in vancover, b.c. in july. anyone else?

No one has pics? I went, but didn't get any pics. The funniest thing was all the ricers revving outside on the street, stuck in traffic , smart, like there is room to race or actually back-up that sound

Show was ok. Only cool thing were um, well 3-4 girls were hot. The rest were kinda scary.
Gretchen
Cool cars... um my friend Kyle's EG on the CPFs and Jonas' yellow EK.
And of course the Sylvia conversion S13 my old friend Errin brought. I didn't even know it was there until right before I left!
