Default hose options for power steering to manual conversion?

I tried to get the acura hose called a "power cooler" to loop a 180 degree bend on the input and output on my rack, but acura and honda both wanted around $24 for it. Are there any other options that would work just as well and are cheaper?

Something as important as steering, $24 is not expensive.

yea well it just doesn't seem reasonable for a tiny hose. I'm sure I could find one somewhere else that would work just as well and be half the price.

My cheap setup-
-1/4" NPT hose barb (fits in the non-barbed PS fitting so now you have two barbs)
-Lisle brake bleeding kit (comes with a plastic reservoir to use as a breather tank- you can get this @ Sears for $6)
- 2 1/4" NPT hose barb fittings for the breather- just drill the correct sized holes in the bottom and the screw in the NPT fittings with some Hondabond.
- Any 1/4" hose will work since now you only need straight segments

That is it. $10 and it is done the right way, with a breather, to preserve steering feel. Use misc. strapping material to anchor the breather.
