horrible noises from a b16a in 92 civic CX
i just dropped the JDM b16a SiR II motor into the car. since i have noticed a steady increase in what sounds like a belt whine. its so loud now i can hear it in the car while im driving. i know its not the alt. belt. its not the timing belt either but if the timing was to tight could it cause a bearing to grind and make a whine? also they sent me a shitty tranny too, could it be the gears in there?
part 2: in the head im getting a random typewriter kinda sound. we did full valve adjustments and still its tap tap tap. i researched lost motion assembley's. how do i check if mine are failing? my mechanic doesnt know what they are.. (time to find someone else) if they are where in hell do i find replacements.
part 3: i bought **** axles off ebay and busted them in the boot part in a week racing a stang. i've been looking on hondaparts.com and they dont seem to have axles for a b16a in a 93 civic. what other axles will fit? i hear the teg b18c will fit right in?
part 4: engine light keeps coming on when it comes to temp. i tried jumping the plug on the ecu to flash a code, but it doesnt work. how else can i get a diagnostic without taking it to honda for $85/h!!!!!!
any info on these three would be great!! i;ve been searching for answers for months!!!!!

the whining sound you're hearing is probably the Input Shaft Bearing in the trans - as far as your axles..thats what you get for buying ebay ****...atleast buy re-manufactured ones from h-motors or something..not sure what your "typewriter" sound is though
