horn not working?
 

okay so i boght this car (93 civic ex coupe) not too long ago and did a lot of his own wiring...he switched out the steering wheel from his acura into this civic and the horn doesnt work. i looked at it and he has two wires running running from the horn itself through the firewall; one set going directly into the spot where the fuse is for the sunroof and the others to some band of wires behing the steering wheel. you can take the tape off the wires and touch them and the horn works but it wont blow the horn when you push the buttons for it. defenitely need some help with this:|

Try taking the horn button apart and verify it provides a ground for the horn relay when pressed?

Has the cable reel been removed?

If the SRS system has been removed do this. Older civics (88-91) that were non-srs had a "shoe horn"
