Horn and brake light fuse keeps blowing. Help

I changed it a couple times. But the other night I had to change it twice. Thinking its a short. The fuse is a 20A. need to figure this out before Polices pull me over

Check the brake switch and wiring.

sounds like a short. find it, or put a penny in the fuse-slot and hope your car doesn't die in a firey smoldering heap.

To help pinpoint the short, unplug the brake switch at the top of the brake pedal or the horn relay in dash fuse box to test whether one prevents the fuse from blowing.

oh oh i'm going to guess the brake bulbs melted with the terminals somehow and are pulling more power then they need to thus blowing fuses. anyone else wanna venture a guess?

note: i'm guessing this because i'v seen it more then once yesterday with 2 diff cars.

to test a relay you need a dmm. But funny thing is that i had the same problem with my eg and everytime i would step on the brake my horn would sound off, Sh!t was funny. GL with your problem tho.
