Hooks on trunk wall...for net?
Hey guys,
I just bought a 2000 civic cx hatchback and noticed three hooks or clips in the rear trunk wall. Is this for a net or OEM? It's bolted to the rear wall. I thought it could be for a net but don't see anything up top.
Sorry for bad cell pics.

Looks like some kind of anchor. These are in OEM locations..I think there is three pre outlined holes on the plastic cover already and these are in the exact location, and bolted on the rear body frame. I thought they were for a net but didn't see any anchors or hooks above to where the net can stand/hang.
Just kind of weird.

The center one that goes over the back isn't always close to the seat. Just like a harness bar isn't always close to the seat. As long as it's secure it shouldn't need to be close. That said I'm not sure that's what they are as I've NEVER seen a car with the LATCH system that had it on the center seat too... so there'd only be two anchors for that usually.

Cargo net anchors look like this:
(From my post here.)
The child seat anchors do attach in the location in the OP's pic, btw. Though, I'm not familiar with ones like that as they are a different style than the ones I'm used to seeing.

Ok thanks for the knowledge and input. It makes more sense now. I never knew what the three locations were for.
