whats up i have a eg with a b20 in it. i have hids in the car but they are wired all weird. they are wired together left and right and go to the left low beam fuse under the dash. there is a 25fuse in it. when i hit the high beams it either blows the fuse or turns the lights off. can someone help me and give me a better way to wire these lights? diagrams or something im kinda a newb but i learn fast

Re: hooking up hids
i think a 10 amp fuse is in there stock.
most HIDS have adapters to use the factory light plugs for the signal, and use a relay, and draw their power form the battery
take pictures, but definatly change that fuse to stock. no need to melt down your cars wiring lol

Re: hooking up hids
take the whole kit off...and take a look at it and remember how u took it off..just think of a way to re wire it..is it a home made kit or a bought kit? and make sure that ur app even has high beam..i have h4 and they do not have high beam...it should say on the top of the lens what the holder takes or on the bulb some where
if u get pics i could help you out alot better (of the kit off)
good luck

Depending on what your kit is, low beam only or high and low kit, they will be wired a little different. If it is an H4, then there should be 3 prongs on them if you are running high and low. Most HID kits require you to install them directly to the factory harness with no extra relays. It should include a harness x2, bulbs x2, and ballasts x2. Also, good to have a test light to make sure you are not crossing the positive wires with ground, cause that will cause a short which will blow whatever size fuse you put in.
