hood issues. diffrent than normal
yeah i know there is a couple threads on how to open a hood that wont open buy my problem is diffrent. my hood latch is broken so i would zip tie it closed and put alot of pressure and it would close fully. all i would have to do is pull the cord to open it but all of a sudden the cord doesnt work and the hood is stuck ive tried everything pulled the front bumper sat for hours to wiggle it open but nothing, even got under the car and played around with it but still nothing.... please help!!!!

on the end of the cable, there is a little ball or something that sits in the latch pull the cord to release the latch, pops the first latch then u open it, this happend to me on my old car, take off the bumper, get pliers and pull the cable towards the driver side headlight and the latch should release. Worked for me, unless you managed to get something jammed in the latch area of the hood.doesnt hurt to try at this point.

ok so i got the hood open but i had to unscrew the whole latch... bad thing is its not the hook in the front but something else in the back.
i was just wondering if there was a good way to get the piece out cause its hella stuck.
