i recencently changed my clutch and now my engine is hitting my hood bad. i have a b20 swap and it never did this before i changed clutch. my question is there a certain way to put back motor mounts like at an angle. like should i jack the back part of motor up to postion engine so it wont hit? i didnt do the swap my brothers friend did so i dont know if the b20 needs adjustmint to fit right or something.

Are all the mounts actually in? Your engine as in the valve cover, or the intake manifold is hitting the hood? Be more specific.

If you jack up the back of the motor, nothing will happen, assuming you have the rear mount installed. If not, it will change the angle of the motor, but you obviously can't drive that way.

i put everything back the way it was. the valve cover is hitting bad. ill post some pictures

here are some pictures of whats happening. the engine pushed up my hood pretty bad and the corner of the valve cover left an indention on the hood

What you've posted doesn't tell us anything past that your engine is hitting the hood. Take clear and SMALLER pictures of the motor mounts. Specifically the rear one.

make sure you have all the bolts tight, the mounts aren't torn, and other than that, you could prop the back of the hood up.

the motor is rocking back so check your rear mount and all the mounts for that matter

turns out i need a new drivers side side engine mount and when we swapped in we didnt put front lower mount so **** there goes my hood
