hondautomotiveparts...blah, help :(
I have a few questions about this.
First, are they legit OEM parts, or OEM Type or style parts?
Second, how coheirant are they with prices from a dealership?
http://www.hondaautomotivepart...81%29
About the URL:
Is there anyway to enlarge the picture? I can't tell what is what numberwise in the picture, I can't even find half the numbers are on there.
Damn, headlights are ******* expensive.
******* bodyshop that fixed my car did a half *** job IMO, ******* reused the lights that weren't broken, you can see it too, like three of them are perfect clear new, and one's all foggy and original ('95), the corners look totally different because of this, stupid bullshit, last time I take my car there, friend's bro or not x50
'95 EX stock tranny, what tranny do I have? Obviously I hvae the 5sp manual not the 4sp auto but do I have a ka or a kl?
If people don't get what I mean by the headlights lookin all gay 'n **** lemme know and I'll take some pics tomorrow.
Thanks in advance.
EDIT:
PS: I just downloaded the picture and magnified it - that doesn't work, the picture quality was lowered to match the smaller picture (obviously for more space), so the picture's just pixelized when enlarged. Anyway to enlarge it clearly is what I should have asked.
EDIT2:
NVM about "are they OEM" or not - I just read that they are in their FAQ.

From my PERSONAL experience........
They are legit OEM Honda parts, come in the OEM packaging, from a reputable dealer.
Ive never had a problem out of them myself, although you may get mixed statements here.
They are much cheaper than your hometown dealer, at least the one here in Clarksville TN.
Went to buy a timing belt on muy girls d17a1 01 lx Civic, and it was nearly half price from hondaautomotiveparts.com than the dealership.

Re: (ekb16)
Sometimes it takes a while for a real dealership to get parts too...
slhondaparts.com has better pictures along with better category groupings, AND part numbers. The problem is they don't have the part #'s and the picture #'s match, so you have to guess or use hondaautomotiveparts' pictures/#'s to get the right item.
There's another site I found recently, cept I don't have the link on my notebook. Its the cats ***, cheap, huge photos, real part #'s, and picture numbers linked to the part list.

They are legit. But if you call them they have horrible customer service.
One time I called because their website had an error and I couldn't order the parts I wanted. Well the "customer service" rep answered me with "You know we have a website where you can order these parts instead of calling here right?" and I was like "Yes I know, but if your website WORKED I wouldn't be calling your ***!!!"
