Hondata head gasket......where to find one?
I have a 99 civic ex with a d16y8 engine and im looking for a head gasket that can with stand heat so i thought maybe the hondata? The problem is i can not seem to find one or to even find out if they make one for my car..The question(s) is would someone know were i could find one at or if they make one and two is there any other companies that make a high temp head gasket?

edit: its under accessories, but it doesnt look like they have one for a d16y, unless the d16z and the y interchange. that i have no clue.

I don't think they make head gaskets, they make Intake Manifold Gaskets(they are plastic).

there is a specfic reason your car is blowing headgaskets, headgaskets aren't a universal thing, you need to thickness & bore, if you don't have a stock bore.(the thicker the lower compression, the thinner the higher the compression) you head might be lifting and causing your headgasket to blow. You need to give us more information, like how many headgaskets you have gone through, what are you mods, because there is an underlying reason why you would be blowing headgaskets, just as the head is warped or etc.

They have not blow, but i am putting a camshaft/gear and IM so i figure since im that far into it i mine as well change it and get one that can handle higher heat since my cam can make power in redline...other mods i have are i/h/e

You don't need an aftermarket head gasket for this then!

he is correct, you don't need to change headgasket because you are puttin in a cam.

So you guys are telling me u can redline your car safely in first and secound and not blow gaskets because i had an eclipse and i hit the rev limiter once and that stupid thing blew once then i just went a little over again and it blew for a secound time..i just dont want this problem again.

I can redline in any gear safely and not blow a gasket, even with a high c/r
