I want to put a 14b (1gen eclipse turbo) in my 94 civic si. I will need a hondata! Or do i just need an AFC. Which one will i need and were can i get it? Also can i controll it from my PDA?

I PERSONALLY think that you should save your money and get a 16g or a 20g turbo if you want to do it that way. I mean there are plenty of kits out there for your motor to be turboed.
But i myself would think a 16G or a 20G would be real good for a 1.6 motor. The 14b is a stock turbo, its power rang is from spool, till about 4500-5000 rpms when the boost lets off , not very good for a honda. A 16 or 20g will pull really well the whole way through, and not loose any boost at higher rpms, and still spool faster then a t3/t4. the t3/t4 is over rated in my opinion, but thats just me,
TO DO THIS:
you would need the turbo of course, go to machv.com, they have the HOOK UP on mitsu turbos, my suggestion would be to go with the 1st one on the page, (bousher 16g) because it has a internal wastegate which makes it easyier to hook up. ALSO, you need a custom manifold, and downpipe. All this will be custom, so your going to end up spending close to what a turbo kit will cost, but i think it would be more effective for your motor.
PM me if you have any questions, i know you'll be able to use the piping and possibly the intercooler(s) on your car

BTW i forgot to asnwer your question. you will need a missing link adapter for your MAP sensor to prevent a CEL, then for the ECU you DEFINATLY want a hondata, or AEM EMS(being 1000$)
on a side note, i know newbs ask stupid questions, but maybe if you guys werent so busy flaming at every chanvce you get, and acctually offer son info for him, they wouldnt be so stupid!! i mean the posters on this thread didnt really flame, just obviously had a problem reading english (no help to the newb)

Agreed. Unless you plan on boosting larger numbers in the future. Then I'd go ahead and spend the money on Hondata or some other expandable platform.
