it's an RTV type sealant that is used for Honda gaskets (i.e. valve cover gasket, cam seal, etc.).....you can get it at your dealer

Or any Pepboys or auto store.
Permatex Ultra Gray is the same stuff as Hondabond.

Re: Hondabond (SpoonFedHatch)
in which cases would i need to use hondabond in conjunction with a gasket? i have a 96 hatch and need a new donut gasket for the A-pipe on my RSR exhaust. do i need it for that? also, anyone with an aftermarket exhaust for a 96-00 hatch, did your exhausts come with a new donut gasket or did you reuse your stock one? if you reuse your stock one, did it fit over the new A-pipe that came with the exhaust? my RSR came with a new A-pipe and my OEM donut gasket wont fit on it because the piping diameter is too large. do i need to tap it onto the pipe with a hammer? should it be tight enough to where i would have to use a hammer to pound it on?

get a helms. It is not as simple as just where to use it.
You dont need it for any exhaust gaskets though.

Re: Hondabond (deviant1)
yes, the donut should fit very snug, but not tooo snug to where you would have to put great force on it to fit into the RSR piping.....you might need to buy a new smaller donut, and DO NOT use hondabond on the donut

i would need a larger diameter donut gasket because the RSR piping is larger than the stock piping. i just want to make sure i need a new stock one because i dont feel like wasting 12-20 bux on a OEM donut gasket that wont fit at all.

Re: Hondabond (deviant1)
I bought some for like $35 at honda and all I used was like 2 drops on my camshafts I think the same company makes a much cheaper version that is basically the same **** that you can hook at your local auto store.
