Default Honda weights

why do i always get a different number when i try to find out the weight of my car? the door on my car says my 92 civic 4 door lx weighs 3250 or something like that and 3 websites i looked up said its like 2319 why the difference? and what is true?

I too have a 92 4 door lx Will go check in the morning if my sticker says the same thing..but our cars for sure do NOT weigh over 3,000 lbs.

Its the same thing in my hatch.. I think the sticker says it weighs 3200 lbs...

the sticker's BS. I got a 92 civic vx with no ac, and no power anything the curbweight i've seen for my car on other sites is 2,094 stock. but i got a d16z6 in it and no back interior. i'm hoping to go to my friends work and weigh my car soon.

The sticker is not BS. The sticker is the combined weight of the car and as much weight that the car can carry.

oh i see. i just read that number like the other dude and thought that was what honda said the curb weight for our cars was.. and hadn't read the fine print.

I remember weighing four door, DX btw, and it was around 3550 or around there forgot w/ me and two other passengers, well one passenger, he was just very big and heavy(fat).

i always thought you were suposed to subtract 1200 pounds from the curb weight.
