Default honda specialist

how are you doing? im plaining on starting a project next spring to build a bad *** street car. truth is i never considered a honda but iv thought about it mabey fwd wont be to bad. plus a 96 civic hatch is lite and 350hp or so will have that thing flying. so i was just hoping some one could give me the names and websites of some good tuner shops that specialize in honda, iv searched and cant find ****.

thanks

Garage Kwai Arlighton Heights IL
One6 Arlighton Heights IL
Sound Perfomane IL (don't know much about them but I know they blew up a KA26 (bored KA) lately.

I would recomend Garage Kwai, good work, and good tune.

Last time I was there my friend seen a EG put down 500whp, didn't see it with my own eye because I didn't look

I don't want sound harsh but I'm sure there are way cooler FWD cars out with potenial of holding 350 ponies under the hood...remember ..any car that needs an engine swap to make it fast was not meant to be raced....

I'm sure just about everyone would disagree with that. Any car can be "raced."

Besides, he doesn't want a race car . . . he wants a "street" car

why is are people bashing this guy because he wants to get in the honda game. this IS a honda site after all. true there are better platforms and fwd isnt the best setup for a racecar but this guy just wants to try something different.

Ever wonder why a bseries can litterally drop right into practically any civic chassis.

What would you say about the EK with a swap though? Swapping from crappy USDM motor with JDM race motor along with every other component (computer, suspension, etc.).

Well, he did say FWD. A 240 is RWD. So, I don't know how a 240 ever came up. But yes, they are way more than capable in top land speeds, drag racing, and drifting. But again, we're talking about FWD here.
