Honda reflash software?
I am used to Subarus and not really familiar with the kind of tuning software that is available for the EG. I don't want to run stand alone I was thinking more like a reflash like an ECUTek or AccessPORT (if you are Subaru savvy.)
Is there anything like this for Honda? with Hondata you have to modify the ECU by installing a rewriteable rom chip? then the Hondata unit acts like a Piggyback? I will be putting a Z6 in my CX so I just want to tune, get a few more horses and then build a turbo down the road. I am use to just reflashing the ECU no cutting, wiring etc and just running stock ECU with tuning. Anything like that out there for OBDI EG? thanks.

there are all kinds of things out there. it just really depends on how much you are wanting to spend. aem, hondata (many more just to lazy to think)are two that are kinda pricy and uberdata, crome, turboedit. are some relatively cheap engine mgt.
for uber, crome, and turbo edit you have to chip your ecu so you can add and remove the eprom chip for tuning and for the others hondata, aem im not really sure what you have to do.
hope this helps you out a little
