Honda Part # For Del Sol
I have a 97 Del Sol Si and it does not come with the fog lights. I am hwever adding them onto the car but I wanted to instal the same button in the center console that previous model years use but I don't know the part #. I have been searching without any luck. Does anybody have a resource to find Honda Part numbers ... Or even a repair manual or owners manual online ...
Thanks in advance

Re: Honda Part # For Del Sol (Socratez)
You sure that switch is for the fog lights? I'm checking the EDM EPC and these are the part numbers according to the diagram.
38535-SR2-S01 SWITCH ASSY., HEATED SEAT
35820-SR2-G01 SWITCH ASSY., HEADLIGHT ADJUSTER
35460-SR2-S01 SWITCH ASSY., HEADLIGHT WASHER
Perhaps the part number is on the JDM EPC. However, I could never get it to open let alone read Japanese.

The switch for the aux lights (fog lights) is on the bezel next to the cruise controll switch above the speedometer and what not. The one in your picture is for the transtop I belive.

Re: Honda Part # For Del Sol (Socratez)
After more research I found out that these are the switch from the JDM (Japan Model) of the Del Sol ... I have contacts overseas so I am going to get them to get me one from their local dealer. I also found a good picture of the comparisson of the 2 ...

Eh? Why in god's name wouldn't you want to put the foglight switch where it was located in 92-95? (nocturnaldragon's post shows the correct location)
Seems like it would look a little more "finished" in that spot versus jury-rigging another model's switch into a more generic location. Unless you used it for something else, you've got a blank filler in covering it right now.
Maybe it's just me, but every time I get in or out of the car I tend to notice that oddball blank. 3 switches, 1 blank, just looks out of place.

Wrong, the top one is the JDM switch, it came with my JDM headlight package new in the box. US Transportation law has always stated that no passenger vehicle can have more than 2 headlights and 2 driving/fog lights on the front of it. That being said, the 93-95 del Sol already had 4, no need for a fog light switch. The 96-97 del Sol never had a USDM fog light option, hence no switch available.
The lower switch is an Integra fog light switch that just happens to fit the hole. That blank plug was actually used for the European headlight adjuster.
The rear blanks are for the JDM heated seat option. One for each seat in the car.

Fog Lights, Cruise control (enable/disable), Rear Defog, and Hazard.
On 96-97 the Fog Light switch is replaced by a blank plate of roughly the same size & shape as a switch. However there's nothing stopping you from buying a 92-95 fog switch from a dealer (or junkyard) and installing it.

Re: Honda Part # For Del Sol (Socratez)
My spot there is not blank. I have my LED for my Security system there. I perfer the location in the console as apposed to screwing something into my dash. I will get the right part number from a Japanese retailer.
